The Warthogs make use of an email list server to send out information to members.
If you would like to join the Warthogs and be informed of rides, invite others to a ride that you are planning, or just communicate with other bikers about mountainbiking, simply follow the instructions below.

Posting to the list

Once you have subscribed, to post a message to EVERYONE on the Warthogs email list, send your email to: warthogs@warthogs.org.za

Everyone on the list, including you, will shortly receive a copy of your mail.

The Rulez...

Well, they are not so much rules as pointers to help you not piss off the other members of the list!

• This is a mountain biking list, people subscribe to the list to get emails about where others are riding and to receive advice about riding/bikes/equipment etc. As such, this email list is not a conduit for chain letters, nor is it a jokes list. Before you post, think of why you joined the list and the type of email that you expect to receive from it.
• Please refrain from posting binaries (anything that isn't text e.g. pictures). Many of the warthogs use web-based email accounts and have small quotas on the amount of mail they can receive.
• Many new email programmes are capable of sending emails that contain HTML. Preferably turn this option OFF when posting to the list, as not everyone on the list uses a fancy email client.
• If you are going to change your email address, unsubscribe from your first address and then subscribe again from the new one.
